Four University Press Books Were Selected as Winners at the National ‘KAMA’ Festival
“Four works from the publications of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences (USWR) won top honors and received plaques of appreciation at the 3rd National ‘KAMA’ Festival (Iran’s Book for People with Disabilities)
According to the University’s Webda correspondent, Dr. Tali’eh Zarifian, Director of Medical Information and Scientific Resources at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, announced this news and congratulated all members of the academic community, authors, and researchers of the university on this achievement.
She added: In the 3rd National ‘KAMA’ Festival, which was held with the aim of introducing and honoring the best works in the field of disability, four books from the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences Press were selected as top works and were honored with plaques of appreciation."
The selected books are
1. ‘Curriculum for Orientation and Mobility of Students with Visual Impairment
2. ‘Early Pre-Linguistic Intervention for Children with Communication Disorders
3. ‘Early Intervention for Children with Speech Sound Disorders
4. ‘Early Intervention in Hearing Impairment
Dr. Zarifian said: This valuable success is another page in the scientific and research honors of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences in supporting the production of specialized content in the field of people with disabilities.
In conclusion, she emphasized the importance of continuing the production of indigenous knowledge in the fields of rehabilitation and special education."
