According to the University’s Webda reporter, Dr. Talieh Zarifian, manager of Medical Information and Publications at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, said: “Book Week is an opportunity to remind us of the truth that a book is a unique tool; a tool that, with the lowest cost, brings the greatest effectiveness to our lives and provides the possibility of discovering endless worlds and knowledge; from traveling to the depths of oceans to flying through galaxies.”
She referred to this department’s alignment with the university’s main mission, emphasizing continuous activity in publishing valuable scientific works and supporting effective projects in the field of health promotion and rehabilitation.
Dr. Zarifian further elaborated on the fundamental changes in the university library’s structure over the past five years, adding: “The most important transformation in this period has been our commitment to systematically facilitating the acquisition of specialized resources, as well as formulating precise guidelines regarding knowledge translation in the specialized fields of rehabilitation and social welfare. These measures have laid a strong foundation to ensure a continuous and targeted flow of knowledge within the university
